She will chair the Un certain regard selection, accompanied by filmmakers Mounia Meddour, Daniel Burman, Michael Covino and actress Elsa Zylberstein, to determine the winner among the twenty works in competition.
She succeeds Nadine Labaki, head of the jury in 2019.
Recognized worldwide for her realistic films with a social dimension, Andrea Arnold made a remarkable debut in the short film, notably with

who won an Oscar in 2005. It stars Zoë, a young single woman mother of four children in trouble.
