El Nacional will
be printed again after more than two and a half years, announced its general manager Jorge Makriniotis.
The new printed edition will come out on August 3 and coincides with the 79th anniversary of the newspaper, critical of the government of the questioned President Nicolás Maduro.
The newspaper stopped circulating on December 15, 2018 due to the lack of newsprint, according to its editors at that time.

has found an option to continue reporting through its website and social networks, but in recent years it went from having more than 1,000 employees to less than 200, says its general manager.

Makriniotis warns that this figure could increase as a result of recent judicial measures against the outlet.
The general manager of the newspaper says that they will have allied printers to circulate again, although he stressed that they will not need details for security reasons.
