Syria condemned the blatant US and Western interference in Nicaragua's internal affairs, stressing its full solidarity with the Nicaraguan people and government in the face of US sanctions.
An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement to SANA today: The Syrian Arab Republic condemns the blatant US and Western interference in the internal affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua with the aim of destabilizing security and stability in it.
The source added that the Syrian Arab Republic affirms full solidarity with the people and government of Nicaragua and the leadership of President Daniel Ortega in the face of US sanctions and Western interference. It also renews the call to renounce all unilateral practices that contradict international law.
