According to the requirements of the Hong Kong government for this group of regions, even if the passengers have received all the injections, they cannot be "detained and quarantined". They must be subject to mandatory quarantine for 21 days at the designated quarantine hotel. During the quarantine period, they must undergo 4 tests, and then they will be accepted for a period of 7 Self-monitoring every day, and compulsory testing at a community testing center on the 26th day of arrival in Hong Kong.

The Food and Health Bureau pointed out that during testing and compulsory quarantine, imported cases with N501Y mutant virus strains or related virus variants found by people arriving in Hong Kong from India will change Indonesia, which is currently a designated area of Group B (high risk). Even if two shots of the new crown vaccine have been taken, 21 days of quarantine are required.
