Jorge Quiroga Ramírez, former president of Bolivia, describes as a "dynastic dictatorship" the political situation that Nicaragua is currently experiencing under the government of President Daniel Ortega.
Quiroga Ramírez calls on the members of the permanent council of the Organization of American States (OAS) to act resoundingly to protect and defend the democracy of the Central American country.
As of this Monday, the Nicaraguan government has detained 13 opponents.
