The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Homs governorate has organized 28 catering seizures against violating commercial activities in the governorate.
Engineer Rami Al-Youssef, Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the seizures that were organized yesterday included a warehouse in Al-Midan neighborhood for possession of spoiled sheep, and a shop in the old neighborhood of Ikrima to combine two types of red and white meat, and a shop in the city of Al-Farqalus for slaughtering Awassi sheep outside the slaughterhouse. Without seals and a shop in Al-Faisal market for cheating on the weight of broilers.
Al-Youssef indicated that the seizures also included shops in the villages of Khirbet Al-Tin, Telchanan, Al-Mazina, and Al-Battasiyah neighborhood for the possession, display and sale of unknown materials, and a cornflakes manufacturing facility in the industrial city of Hassia to possess and use expired foodstuffs and put a removable label on their product bearing the date of production and expiration, in addition to a shop in The camp neighborhood for violating the possession, display and sale of pomegranate molasses that does not carry any data, and supply bakeries in the city of Al-Farqalus and the village of Al-Shtayeh for the production and packaging of ration bread with a low weight.
