The Municipal Council of Al-Munaithra in Sweida has completed the implementation of asphalting and asphalting works in the village of Oyoun, which is affiliated with the council, according to a contract with the Technical Services Directorate.
The head of the Municipal Council, Ziyad Abu Daqqa, indicated in a statement to SANA reporter that the paving work included roads that need to be serviced and based on a priority set for this purpose, pointing out that the council also completed the necessary study for a sewage project to be implemented in the village of Munithrah in the coming period.
On the other hand, the Baka Municipal Council in the countryside of As-Suwayda started the work of a main sewage line project serving the old town, as part of the efforts exerted to improve the service situation there.
The head of the Baka municipal council, Alaa Murad, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that the project is gaining importance to serve the old town, and its implementation period is 100 days, and it is added to a number of drainage projects linked with the main line, which were completed during the last period.
In the town of Melh, the town council has completed the first phase of a sewage line project that serves many citizens' homes.
The head of the Salt Hammoud Balan Town Council stated in a similar statement that the first phase was implemented in the center of the town, with two new phases of drainage lines to be followed during the coming period.
In a related context, the Technical Services Directorate carried out maintenance work on the main road of the village of Habran in the southern countryside of As-Suwayda, according to a contract between the General Secretariat of the Governorate and the Technical Services Directorate, according to the mayor of Hibran Hikmat Al-Andari.
