The workshops of the General Company for Roads and Bridges in Deir ez-Zor began implementing the rubble removal project from the vicinity of the Justice Palace and the government complex in the middle of neighborhoods liberated from terrorism in Deir ez-Zor.
A member of the Executive Office for Services Affairs in the governorate, Engineer Ziad Al-Kadhim, said in a statement to SANA reporter that after the completion of the restoration and rehabilitation work of the Justice Palace and the start of rehabilitating the government complex in the center of the liberated city’s neighborhoods, and due to the presence of large quantities of rubble in the vicinity of the area, the removal and removal of the rubble was carried out under A contract with the General Company for Roads and Bridges, funded by the Deir Ezzor Fund for Development.
Al-Kadhim pointed out that this project falls within the governorate's plan to revive the city's center and activate commercial and economic activity in the area, which includes many events and markets, and is the commercial center of the city.
In turn, the director of the branch of the General Company for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Aziz Ezzi, explained that the project includes removing the rubble, the amount of which is estimated at about 10 thousand cubic meters, and transporting it to the designated place outside the city, with a contract value of about 25 million pounds, and the duration of the contract is 45 days, pointing out that the work is proceeding at an accelerated pace. To finish the work as soon as possible.
