Sit-ins and roadblocks were renewed in some Lebanese regions today, especially in Sidon and Tripoli, in protest against the deteriorating economic and living conditions.

The Lebanese National News Agency stated that protesters blocked the road at the Elia intersection square in Sidon, south of Lebanon, with burning tires, to demand better living and economic conditions, while other protesters blocked the Taalbaya Saad Nile Road in Zahle in the Bekaa Valley with burning tires, obstacles and stones.

In Tripoli, northern Lebanon, other protesters blocked roundabouts of the meadow with burning tires, waste containers and stones, and demanded an improvement in economic, social and living conditions, while another group of protesters organized demonstrations that roamed the city’s streets to express their anger at the deteriorating economic conditions and conditions amid strict security measures, as they blocked the two roads of the city.
