JobsDB's "2021 Salary Survey Report" shows that nearly half of the full-time employees surveyed believe that their salary is lower than the market average, but many of them say they enjoy a good relationship with existing colleagues and are therefore willing to accept lower than the market. JobsDB commissioned an independent survey agency in March this year to conduct an online questionnaire survey of 4288 local wage earners to understand their current employment status.

The results show that 46% of people think their salary is lower than the market average, and only 9% think that their salary is higher than the market.

According to industry classification, the most people in the testing/experiment industry believe that their salary is lower than the market average, as high as 68%; the second is management consulting/service, accounting for 59%.

The least people think that their salaries are lower than the market average are civil servants and public employees, accounting for only 29%.

Asked about the reasons why they think their salary is lower than the market average and they will not change jobs. Most people said it was difficult to find a new job or wanted to maintain job stability, up to 47%, and another 21% said they enjoyed a good relationship with existing colleagues .
