Lu Zhicong has four years of clinical work, one year spent in internship, one year in the psychiatric ward, and two years in the obstetrics and gynecology ward. After that, with the encouragement of his boss, he resolutely switched to administrative work. He did it for 28 years.
At the age of retirement, Lu Zhicong looked back. If he could talk to Lu Zhicong 28 years ago, he would remind him to do more than ten years of clinical work.
"I have tried to follow up every patient again and again, and I am very stable, and I was called to prescribe medicine and food. At that time, the psychiatric clinic was on the eighth floor, and it didn't take ten minutes to turn around and then jump down."
He admitted that if he had more clinical experience that year, he could return to front-line work when he retire this year. "Since I have been in management for nearly 30 years, I will be responsible for all my doctors." He said frankly, "Don't dare to doctor." Spend a lot of time learning new knowledge.

However, Lu Zhicong belongs to administrative management, because improving the medical system can help more patients and their families more than clinical work, but it does not have an immediate effect, and his satisfaction is less than that of clinical medical care. He has spent the past two years adjusting his mentality.
Lu Zhicong will start his pre-retirement vacation on the 1st of next month and will officially resign on November 1.
