The replacement of the interim Attorney,

Eduardo Casal

, once again generated hard crossings and accusations between the opposition and the ruling party in congress.

It was during a meeting of the bicameral commission of the Public Ministry of Congress in which they fought over the delays in the treatment of Daniel Rafecas' nomination for that position.

The opposition once again asked that their statement be processed, but the Ks once again opposed it.

The president of the Bicameral Commission of the Public Ministry, the senator of the Frente de Todos, Martín Doñate, affirmed during a videoconference between deputies and senators of the commission that "the agenda of the Frente de Todos is managed by the Frente de Todos and not Juntos por el Change "in response to a proposal from the opposition to advance with the Rafecas statement.

The situation is complex.

Rafecas is the candidate of President Alberto Fernández to replace Casal.

But the harshest Kirchnerism - with the impulse of Cristina Kirchner - does not want it and is reluctant to deal with its specifications.

But Juntos por el Cambio seeks to address Rafecas' nomination since it considers that he could be an acceptable candidate.

They suspect that Kirchnerism wants to put an ultra K candidate in that place.

In parallel, the Frente de Todos seeks to modify the Law of the Public Prosecutor's Office to be able to appoint a new one without the current two-thirds, among other measures.

"Together for Change was the space that for a year set the conditions" to delay the debate on the Attorney General and judicial reform.

They boasted of having 29 votes to block that designation (by Rafecas), "said Doñate, and considered that the opposition" tried to generate all the mechanisms to keep Eduardo Casal in office. "

The head of the PRO deputies bloc, Cristian Ritondo, considered that if Argentina still has an interim attorney, it is because the Frente de Todos "does not resolve what the President (Alberto Fernández) has sent to the Senate" and ratified that JxC has agreed " so that Rafecas is the new Procurator ".

In addition, he asked that the Rafecas document be put into treatment.

In response, the deputy of the Frente de Todos Rodolfo Tailhade blamed the opposition for being "incoherent" and considered that "it is a great verse" that they intend to "accompany the appointment of Rafecas."

The deputy accused the opposition Juntos por el Cambio of having had "for a year the sole objective of blocking the judicial reform and keeping Casal in office" and urged its members to "fix their interns first and then tell (Peronism) what you have to do. "

In response, Ritondo countered that "incoherence" is the position that Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and President Alberto Fernández had on Justice "two years ago."

Kirchnerism's refusal to deal with the Rafecas statement generated reactions in the opposition.

Juan Manuel López, the president of the bloc of national deputies of the Civic Coalition, said: "Every day more clearly, Cristina Kirchner wants to be the Chief of the prosecutors since the presidency of the Senate."
