A wounding case occurred in Yuen Long.
At about 9 pm on Monday (14th), a South Asian man was reportedly beaten by four fellow villagers on the Castle Peak Road-Yuen Long section near Gu Ting Street.
Outnumbered, he fell to the ground and fell into a coma. He was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital by ambulance afterwards.
The assailants all fled. The police classified the case as "actual bodily injury caused by the attack," and they are pursuing the people involved in the case.
Fragments of the incident went viral afterwards, showing that the victim was tangling with 4 men on the pavement, after which he was pulled to the ground and curled up.
The four assailant men kept kicking them with "take off feet", and some people were holding suspected umbrellas as weapons.
Among them, a shirtless man stepped on the victim's head more times, then grabbed his trousers and pulled him out of the road. He was unable to drive through the bus.
There were multiple exclamations of women in the film, and enthusiastic passers-by stepped forward to discourage and assist. At first, the shirtless man still turned on deaf ears until his companion pulled him away before leaving the scene.

The police said that the injured man was 51 years old, of Nepalese origin. He sustained injuries to his head and nose. He was in a coma when he was sent to the hospital. He later regained consciousness.
At the time of the incident, the police received a report from a passer-by who alleged that the victim was assaulted with hands and feet by 4 non-Chinese men at the above address. The reason is unknown, and the 4 people fled afterwards.
The police classified the case as "actual bodily injury caused by the attack" and handed it over to the Yuen Long Police District Criminal Investigation Team for follow-up.
