They foresee another hurricane season above normal 0:58
(CNN) -
Tropical Storm Bill formed - out of what was a tropical depression - in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of North Carolina on Monday night.
It is the second named storm of the North Atlantic hurricane season.
The storm is likely to be short-lived, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC).
No alerts or warnings have been issued in relation to Bill, as he is moving away from the US coast to the northeast at a rapid pace, NHC said.
Current forecasts indicate that Bill will approach the Nova Scotia coast as a post-tropical storm on Wednesday before dissipating.
