Regensburg - An 88-year-old driver first crashed into a vehicle in front on Monday afternoon (June 14) on Aussiger Straße in Regensburg * and then threw him into an oncoming Opel, as the Regensburg North * police reported in a press release.
Regensburg: Damage after a car accident amounts to 12,000 euros
The driver's Fiat then tipped over to the left and stopped in the middle of the lane. First responders put the car back up, helped the 88-year-old out and provided first aid immediately. The man was taken to hospital with injuries to his head and arm. The two vehicles involved in the accident had to be towed away. The total damage is estimated at around 12,000 euros.
