Fürth - One day ago (June 14), a 45-year-old man was stabbed with a knife by a 38-year-old after an argument in the southern part of Fürth.

As the police headquarters in Middle Franconia * now announced, the victim is no longer in mortal danger.

According to the press release, a witness called the 911 at around 11 a.m. on Monday morning and told officials that he had found a seriously injured and severely bleeding man in a shop on Flößaustrasse.

He was in urgent need of medical attention.

He said he had seen a man fleeing the scene whom he had identified as the attacker.

Then several patrols from the Fürth police station and the ambulance service drove to the scene of the incident.

The latter provided the victim with medical care immediately and the 45-year-old told the officials on site that he was the owner of the shop and knew the attacker personally.

The Nuremberg-Fürth public prosecutor's office had filed an application for detention for attempted manslaughter on the day of the incident.

During today's Tuesday, the 38-year-old will be brought before the investigating judge at the Fürth district court *.

The Fürth criminal police took over the further investigations into the case - they are now asking for evidence.

  • After the knife attack, the suspect fled the crime scene on Flößausstrasse / Ludwigsstrasse around 10.55 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. with the knife in his hand.

  • He was wearing a black glove and is said to have run from Ludwigstrasse in the south of Jahnstrasse.

  • Here he is said to have run through a group of several people.

The Kripo asked all those passers-by who were on Ludwigstrasse or were part of the group to get in touch with the police.
