The National Fund for Social Aid announced the disbursement of the fifth, sixth and seventh monthly bonuses in one go during this June to those accepted into the second phase of the program to support and empower the demobilized.

The number of beneficiaries of the second phase of the program exceeds 29,000 theaters, and the monthly reward is 36,800 pounds.

With regard to loans for financing small projects for the demobilized, which are granted according to an agreement signed with the National Microfinance Corporation to all the demobilized who are not employed in government agencies and who are accepted in the demobilized support program, the Director General of the Fund, Eng. Louay Al-Aranji, explained that the number of those registered in it has so far reached 8,000 theaters and those who obtained the loan to start With their projects a thousand theaters in Damascus, Aleppo, Tartous, Sweida and Lattakia.

Al-Aranji indicated that the reason for the delay in lending is due to the credit file, the financial inquiry, or the theater's failure to complete the required papers, explaining that the value of the loan ranges from 250 thousand pounds to a maximum of 5 million pounds.

In 2019, the Fund launched the auxiliary forces compensation program and grants compensation for a period of ten years to each wounded person who benefits from it, according to Al-Aranji, who have a disability ratio of 70 to 75 percent, and the number is currently 167 wounded. home wounded.

The fund recently added, according to al-Aranji, another segment of the wounded auxiliary forces to benefit from the monthly compensation, and they are those whose percentage of disability ranges from 40 to 65 percent, and the value of their compensation is 50 thousand pounds, and it is expected that more than two thousand wounded will benefit from it.

More than 36,000 theaters benefited from the program to support and empower the demobilized, the first phase, which was approved by the Council of Ministers in February 2019 by providing a monthly bonus of 35,000 pounds for a year for each theater that is not employed in government agencies.

The National Social Aid Fund of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor was established in 2011 and aims to protect families and individuals through financial support through targeted programs, empowering beneficiaries economically, socially and healthily, and improving the conditions of beneficiaries' families.
