Dr. Abdul Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University in Homs, discussed with Dr. Muhammad Ghashim, Advisor to the President of the Russian State University of Sevastopol, mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two universities in a number of scientific and cultural fields.
During the meeting, Al-Khatib stressed the importance of consolidating scientific and cultural relations linking Syria and Russia, pointing out that universities need continuous development in various scientific fields and to enhance cooperation among them through publishing research and exchanging missions.
Al-Khatib stressed the need for cooperation, conducting joint scientific research, publishing research between the two parties, and activating the signed agreements.
For his part, Ghashim explained that the work between the two sides will include exchanging faculty members, researchers and students, developing curricula, exchanging scientific materials and research information, and participating in scientific conferences.
