Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Tourism has granted tourist rehabilitation forms to establishments of different levels in Damascus and its countryside, Tartous and Ham

The Ministry of Tourism has granted tourist qualification forms to establishments of different levels in Damascus and its countryside, Tartous and Hama, and a tourist commendation license in Homs during the past months that secures many job opportunities for graduates of hotel and tourism institutes.

In the countryside of Damascus on the international road in the Qara region, the Tourism Directorate granted a tourist rehabilitation form for a two-star establishment, “Rich Rest” with an estimated investment cost of 646 million Syrian pounds and a capacity of 120 feeding chairs and 30 tables.

The Hama Tourism Directorate granted a tourist rehabilitation form for the three-star “Jar Al Qamar” restaurant, with a floor area of ​​300 square meters, at an investment cost of 3.500 billion, and a capacity of 176 dining chairs and 44 tables.

In Tartous, the Tourism Directorate granted a tourist qualification form based on Decree No. 11 of 2015 for a complex of hotel chalets, a swimming pool and complementary services of a 5-star level “Holiday Beach Amos Flamingo Africano” south of the Golden Sands complex, with a capacity of 236 hotel beds, 145 rooms and 740 feeding chairs.

In Damascus, the Tourism Directorate granted 6 tourist rehabilitation licenses to two-star facilities at a total investment cost of 604 million Syrian pounds and a capacity of 302 feeding chairs during the month of May.

During the months of March, April and May, the Homs Tourism Directorate granted a tourist commendation license for a three-star hotel and 5 qualification forms for two- and three-star tourist catering establishments at an investment cost of 5.5 billion Syrian pounds, with a capacity of 405 chairs.
