According to the study by the Société d'aménagement foncier etablissement rural (Safer), the market for houses in the countryside (those sold with a plot of less than 5 hectares) saw an increase in the number of houses last year. 6.6% transactions (to 111,930 sales).
For its part, their total value jumped 12.1% while the area increased by 9%.
It is now necessary to count on average 184,000 euros to afford this type of property.
