On June 15, 2019, Liang Lingjie, an anti-revision demonstrator, unfortunately fell to his death while hanging a banner on the rooftop of Pacific Place in Admiralty. Today (June 15) is the second anniversary of Liang Lingjie’s death. Some citizens started in the afternoon. One after another, they arrived outside Pacific Place to lay flowers to mourn, and in the evening there were dragons of flowers.
A number of police officers, including flag bearers, were stationed at the scene, during which time they opened microphones to warn citizens not to gather.

Starting this afternoon, some citizens have brought white flowers to the flower garden outside Pacific Place, bowed to the flower bed in mourning, and lit candles and wrote mourning words on the flower bed.
In the evening, the number of people who came to mourn gradually increased. At 6 o'clock in the evening, there were long queues on the footpath of Admiralty Road. There were dozens of people during the peak period, and the atmosphere was generally calm and orderly.
A performance artist wore a yellow raincoat, a V-sharp mask and brought a balloon to the scene. He was intercepted by police in the afternoon and let him go.
The police entered Pacific Place at night, and some citizens were intercepted for investigation.
