The public cargo loading and unloading area of the Western District, commonly known as "Western District Wharf" and "Western District Sky Mirror", attracts countless citizens to come to check in; the water after the rain reflects the beautiful scenery, and the containers, pallets, and rocks turn into a fun amusement park .
Pierfrancesco Celada, an Italian photographer residing in Hong Kong, came to the West Loop Pier by accident and was immediately attracted.
He walks to the dock to take photos almost every day and uploads the photos to the Instagram account of "insta_pier".

In 2017, when Pierfrancesco was interviewed by "01 Video", he described: "They come and come again, shooting the same scenery, the same husband, and the same composition. I have always been interested in people's self-portraits and self-interpretation. I’m not sure about the reason behind it, or it’s based on a sense of belonging to this place, so let’s follow the public and do the same thing together!”

Day after day, he came to the Sai Wan Pier to shoot and upload to IG, just like other citizens who came to check in, he played the same role endlessly and was involved in the vortex of reality and virtuality.
It wasn't until March 1, 2021, that the government's Marine Department banned the public from entering on the grounds of the epidemic, and Pierfrancesco was able to escape this cycle.
He re-examined the 30,000 photos taken in the past and held the "IG Pier" exhibition at WMA Space, leading everyone between public and private, virtual and real.
