A 21-year-old ignored the right of way when crossing St 2084.
The result was an accident near Kirchasch in which an Erdinger woman was injured.
The property damage is not exactly minor.
Kirchasch - A 21-year-old from the eastern district of Erding disregarded the right of way and subsequently injured a woman.
According to a report by the Erdinger police, the young man was on his way from Mauggen to Walpertskirchen in his 3-series BMW at around 7.10 p.m. on Tuesday.
He wanted to cross State Road 2084 in the direction of Walpertskirchen.
He overlooked a VW Multivan coming from the left from the direction of Dorfen, which was driven by a 44-year-old Erdinger.
The collision resulted in an injury to the woman's left wrist.
She was brought to the Erding Clinic for treatment.
The total damage: around 17,000 euros.
Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and were towed away.
The St 2084 was closed in the accident area for around two hours.
