The Serbian-born player apologized Monday on Instagram to his "friends from North Macedonia and Albania", referring to "exchanges heated yesterday in the excitement of the match", but without revealing the content of his words. According to several media outlets, the target of the offenses was Leeds defender Ezgjan Alioski, with reference to his Albanian origins.
