Defendant Kou Hongping, 59 years old, was charged with 11 counts of deliberate tax evasion.
She was accused of claiming to live with her father, Kou Geng, on five occasions between 2009 and 2017 when she filed the tax return for the year of assessment without paying full expenses. There were also three subpoenas stating that she was in the profit and loss account of "Liang Kou Hongping Company". The above stated that the office assistant spent 288,000 yuan a year; the other three crimes were that she claimed on the salary and pension tax returns filed by her employer that employees Sun Yongbin and Zhong Yonghui received 96,000 yuan each year during those years.
The model Zhong Yonghui today confessed that he started to be an artist in 2011 but never worked in Liang Kou Hongping's company.
But Zhong also pointed out that he knew Kou’s daughter Tang Beishi, and Tang was a classmate and friend. When he went to Kou’s company to look for Tang, he would meet Kou.
The defense questioned that Zhong had given his personal information to others, and Zhong pointed out that many years had passed since the incident and that he had forgotten many details.
