French Prime Minister John Castix announced that his government abolished the mandatory wearing of masks in open spaces and lifted the curfew ahead of schedule, against the background of improved statistics on Corona virus infections in the country.
And the French newspaper Le Figaro quoted Castix as saying during a press conference today that it was decided “to cancel the obligation to put masks in open places, except in exceptional cases, including in gatherings, markets, queues and crowded places, starting tomorrow,” referring to the abolition of the curfew imposed at night, starting next Sunday. After it was scheduled to end at the end of this month.
The authorities in France had imposed strict health restrictions to limit the rapid spread of the Corona virus, and began to gradually lift restrictions, starting from last May, after a marked improvement in the epidemiological situation.
