Gender equality and the relaunch of the country, the focus of ASviS

   The Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development dedicates a reflection on gender equality, "Women, participation and employment for the relaunch of the country", in light of the implementation of the UN Agenda 2030, indicated as a cross-cutting priority of one of the strategic Axes - the social inclusion of the NRP, presented on 30 April by the Government.


    In fact, that between men and women is one of the main inequalities in our country, certified by the Global ranking for gender equality of the World Economic Forum which places Italy in 76th place out of 153 countries, a gap further accentuated by the pandemic. The event will be broadcast live on ANSA.IT and on the Agency's social channels.


    This is the second ASviS initiative in the approach to the 5th Sustainable Development Festival, scheduled from 28 September to 14 October. Ministers Patrizio Bianchi, Elena Bonetti and Andrea Orlando, Maria Patrizia Grieco, President of Assonime, will speak. President of Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Gianni Rosas, Director of ILO Italy, Linda Laura Sabbadini, Chair Woman 20, Pierluigi Stefanini, president and spokesperson of ASviS
