Frozen pizza producer Franko Fresco continues to swim on the wave of success: The ice cream, which was previously only sold in Bavaria, should in future be available throughout Germany.
Geretsried - Some will already know Gustavo Gusto ice cream from the freezer shelf in the supermarket next door.
It was a test run that frozen pizza manufacturer Franco Fresco from Geretsried carried out last year.
The company describes it as successful in a press release and wants to gradually offer the new Italian-style ice cream nationwide.
"We are creating a second pillar for ourselves - pizza and ice cream go together perfectly," explains Christoph Schramm, founder and managing director of Franco Fresco. There are five different types, chocolate, vanilla, lemon, raspberry and yogurt with honey. When it comes to creations, taste and high-quality ingredients are important, like pizza, according to the company. Schramm: “Our Gustavo Gusto Gelato should taste like in a good Italian ice cream parlor - intense and with a creamy consistency that melts on the tongue.” Sw
