The 68-year-old male swimmer surnamed Li was soberly sent to Queen Mary Hospital by ambulance.
The case was classified as an accidental injury, and was handed over to the first team of the Marine Police Regional Crime Squad for follow-up.
It is understood that Li Nan was swimming with two friends on the site at the time, and then someone swam out of the shark prevention net.
During this period, a friend suddenly heard Li Nan screaming and calling for help, and found a white speedboat approaching them at high speed. Li Nan was hit and injured by a propeller.
After the incident, Li Nan was rescued by another ship and citizens. He was soberly sent back to the shore and sent to hospital for treatment.
A witness to the boat owner said that the injured male was first rescued on a surfboard and then returned to the shore with the assistance of other boats.

After that, the lifeguards rushed to the scene to assist with lifting the bed and emergency supplies. With the help of other ships, the injured were transported to the shore. The injured were then handled by the ambulancemen and sent to the hospital for treatment.
The Hong Kong and Kowloon Life Saving Staff Association stated that citizens should try to avoid swimming outside safe swimming areas. As there are too many boats on the sea, accidents are prone to occur.
