In Russia, the vaccination campaign against the corona virus has recently made slow progress - now the city of Moscow has introduced mandatory vaccination for an enormous group of people.
Government employees and people with a lot of social contacts must prove at least one primary vaccination by July 15.
This was announced by the city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin.
The regulation affects a good two thirds of employees in the service industry, including taxi drivers, trainers in fitness studios and museum employees.
Government employees such as teachers must also provide evidence of the mandatory vaccination.
Sobyanin said the corona situation in Moscow was developing "dramatically".
He urged people to get vaccinated to reduce hospital stays and deaths.
