The Organization of American States approved on Tuesday a resolution condemning "the arrest, harassment and arbitrary restrictions imposed on presidential candidates, political parties and independent media" in Nicaragua.
In addition, this document calls for the immediate release of the detainees.
The Nicaraguan government considered it interference and non-binding.
