Rehabilitation of Sallefa Salma Road in the northern countryside of Latakia

The Directorate of Technical Services in Lattakia started the implementation of maintenance work on the Sallefa Salma highway by laying an asphalt shirt with the damaged sections and cleaning the sides of the road.

Engineer Rola Debbana, Head of the Technical Services Office in Al-Haffah, indicated that the road was damaged to a large extent by terrorist attacks, and rehabilitation works are underway, especially as it is considered one of the main and tourist roads.

She pointed out that the works include cleaning the sides and restoring the road in the damaged sites, in addition to the rehabilitation of Rawdat Al-Shuhada Road in the municipality of Bab Jannah.

For his part, Eng. Muhannad Al-Sobh, from the branch of the General Company for Roads and Bridges, the implementing agency of the project, indicated that the works consist of laying an asphalt layer in the affected sites, indicating that the works are carried out in accordance with the required requirements and under the supervision of the Technical Services Office to lay the road with investment, considering the area is a tourist destination and a destination for people in the summer.
