Despite the intervention of the emergency services, he died on the spot.
According to the first elements of the investigation, he was between two cars parked on the side of the track and began to cross the road out of a pedestrian crossing.

It was then that the pedestrian, who was in the driver's blind spot, was struck by the truck.
The firefighters mobilized two devices, as well as a medical team and a rescue truck.
Despite attempts at resuscitation, the victim did not survive.
Traffic was interrupted for more than two hours on this departmental axis, which goes from the Place de la Croix-de-Chavaux to the Porte de Montreuil.
