On the eve of the regional elections, and while looming the future States General of justice announced by the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron on June 5, the National Bar Council has just completed its biannual study carried out by Odoxa on perception by those subject to their justice.
This is a good indicator of the relationship of the French to everyday justice: they deplore the difficulty of accessing it and demand professionals capable of guiding them through the legal maze.
The first consequence of this malaise is expressed by the feeling that public freedoms are regressing in France.
“77% of French people have the feeling that fundamental rights and freedoms are on the decline, a feeling even more marked in overseas territories (84%) but also in Brittany (83%) and in the Grand Est (82%) »
