In its fourth monthly appearance, a series of windows opened its window to the poet Tawfiq Ahmed, who is considered an extension of the poetic modernists of the last century and has an important experience that spanned four decades and was collected in his complete poetic works.
During the symposium hosted by the Dummar Cultural Complex, the poet Saleh Hawari spoke in his intervention about the construction of the poem by the poet Ahmed in terms of the external and internal form, referring to the sentences, structures, meanings, images and the musical and emotional structure in his poetry, citing examples from his poems, pointing out that the poet Ahmed is one of the most important innovators in the poetic image of what It has a delicate sensitivity and high transparency.
The narrator Nazim Muhanna explained that the poet Ahmed made his way at first towards the traditional form of the column poem, but he went ahead with the renewal through his innovative images and worked on modernity from within the poem through renewal in images and meanings so that his vertical poem carried all the data of modernity from within it in addition to his contribution to the development of the activation poem .
The critic Abdel Nour Hindawi also touched on the journey of the poet Ahmed over nearly fifty years, during his collections an unfinished anthem, the wedding of basil, the mountains of the wind, even if you know and other collections, pointing to the importance of Ahmed's poetic product and that it is an important addition to the modern Arabic poem.
The poet Tawfiq Ahmed explained to SANA that his poetic experience is the result of a long work in culture, reading and research, in addition to the talent that alone is not enough, and that through his experience he worked on many topics that disturb poetic modernity, including displacements in images and meanings, and his dealing with the subject of the exchange of senses, which was clearly manifested in his poem “Shafiti Track” .
And the journalist Idris Murad, the author of the Windows series, stated that the symposium is a space to highlight the symbols of creativity in Syria, and it continues to work and search for every artistic, cultural and intellectual product to shed light on it, and this is a duty on it and a natural right of institutions and individuals towards the creator.
