Summary.
In February 2017, a family mysteriously disappeared in Orvault, in the suburbs of Nantes (Loire-Atlantique).
Pascal Troadec does not show up for work.
His wife Brigitte does not give any more news.
No sign of life either from their two children: Sébastien, 21, and Charlotte, his 18-year-old younger sister.
The police found traces of blood in the family home, located just four kilometers from that of the Dupont de Ligonnès, murdered in April 2011. The case then attracted the attention of the national media.
Almost three weeks later, Hubert Caouissin, Pascal Troadec's brother-in-law, admits having killed them.
He is to be tried for this quadruple murder from June 21 to July 9.
Journalist François Rousseaux investigated this affair for nearly four years, which he recounts in a book, “Pour tout l'or du monde”, published at the end of April by Fayard.
He comes back to this unusual news item in three episodes in Source Code.
