Less than a week after the sentence against the tattoo artist Patricio Pioli in a case of "revenge porn", the Justice revoked the house arrest and in the next few hours he will be transferred to the provincial prison where he will begin serving the five-year sentence.
Pioli was serving the sentence at home because the ruling was not final.
But this Wednesday the Third Chamber for Criminal and Correctional Matters of La Rioja annulled that measure and ordered the immediate transfer of the tattoo artist.
The ruling known last Thursday is unpublished.
It was the first time that someone who disseminated intimate material of a former partner without their consent sat on the dock and was sentenced.
The tattoo artist
was sentenced to five years in prison
for "coercion and qualified minor injuries" against his ex-partner, who managed to bring him to trial.
The sentence was for exercising gender violence against Paula Sánchez Frega and filtering intimate photos and videos taken while they were dating, among other crimes.
In addition to the sentence to be served in prison,
Pioli will have to pay the costs of the trial.
The sentence was ordered by the Court of the Third Chamber for Criminal and Correctional Matters of La Rioja, presided over by Judge Edith Agüero together with justices María Petrillo and Fernando Romero.
The convicted person
must
also
undergo "permanent psychological treatment"
during his stay in prison.
The Pioli case was the first oral proceeding in the country for the dissemination of intimate sexual material, classified in the Penal Code as "revenge porn."
And the case was key to the Reform of the Code and the inclusion of this figure as a computer crime.
