Tourism professionals say goodbye to their "good soul"

The Tegernseer Tal Tourismus GmbH has said goodbye to its "good soul".

Ingrid Greiter is retiring after almost 42 years.

- Two years ago, Ingrid Greiter received a musical serenade for her 40th anniversary with the company, as well as the certificate of honor from the Free State of Bavaria.

The 65-year-old is now leaving Tegernseer Tal Tourismus GmbH (TTT) to take her well-deserved retirement.

Or is it not entirely?

"From 100 percent to zero - Ingrid couldn't imagine that," said managing director Christian Kausch.

"She stays with us as a temporary help if necessary."

During a small ceremony, Kausch paid tribute to the "permanent institution and good soul in the former guest house".

Kreutherin, who is equally popular with guests and hosts, has worked in the Tourist Information Office (TI) for almost 42 years.

No wonder it is difficult to say goodbye.

Over the years, Greiter has retained a desire to further educate himself, especially in languages.

In addition to English and Italian as well as basic vocabulary in Spanish and Japanese, there was even the sign language that she learned at the adult education center.

For thirty years the settlement of the resort tax was in their hands.

For ten years she was in charge of the Tegernsee Lake Festival and the Tegernsee Week.

After almost ten years, Michaela Lange is also leaving TI Tegernsee.

The 27-year-old is moving to the Rottach-Egern community registration office.
