Vaccinated before: Vaccination with Astrazeneca possible in the Regensburg vaccination center

Every resident of Regensburg who would like to be vaccinated with Astrazeneca can now register at the Regensburg Vaccination Center. 

Regensburg - Anyone wanting to be vaccinated from the Regensburg city area * who would like to be vaccinated against the coronavirus * with Astrazeneca vaccine can contact the Regensburg Vaccination Center.

This is possible regardless of priority and age, as the city of Regensburg announced. 

"At the end of the day we always have a handful of Astrazeneca * vaccine doses left over," says Richard Leberle, medical director of the vaccination center.

“So that the remaining vaccination doses do not expire, it would be good to know who would like to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca.

Only in this way can we react quickly and make vaccination offers at short notice. "   

Regensburg: Those wishing to be vaccinated should report to the vaccination center

People who are seriously interested in the vaccination can now call the municipal vaccination center on 09 41 507 88 66 or 09 41 507 88 55 daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The corresponding user account in the vaccination portal will then be updated so that people willing to vaccinate can be called at short notice. 

"We are now taking this step because it has always taken a long time to find people who would like to be vaccinated in the past few weeks," said Leberle.

"With the updated data, it will hopefully be easier and faster again in the future." 

Regensburg: Urgent request from the vaccination center - "delete user account immediately"

Everyone who has not received the corona vaccination * at the municipal vaccination center, but who registered for a vaccination on the Bavarian vaccination platform BayIMCO at the beginning of the year, is urged to delete the user account in the registration portal immediately.

This is the only way to avoid double vaccination appointments and failures.
