A decrease in suspected Corona cases in the Red Crescent Hospital during this June

Damascus, SANA- The director of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Hospital, Dr. Maher Haddad, confirmed the decrease in cases that have regressed the disease

The director of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Hospital, Dr. Maher Haddad, confirmed the decrease in cases that have been referred to the hospital with symptoms similar to the symptoms of infection with the Corona virus since the beginning of this June.

In a statement to SANA, Dr. Haddad explained that the number of hospital patients with symptoms similar to those of HIV infection since the beginning of this June has reached 18, at a rate of one patient per day, most of them with mild symptoms, compared to about 4 patients per day during last May.

According to its director, the hospital is currently receiving 3 patients in the isolation department and 3 in intensive care, indicating that its capacity reaches 21 isolation beds and 10 care beds with 6 competitors.

Dr. Haddad confirmed the hospital's readiness in terms of securing oxygen and medicines needed to treat patients and the efficiency of health staff working to tackle the Corona virus.

Regarding the most prominent symptoms that appear on the cases that are referred to the hospital, Dr. Haddad explained that for moderate cases, they appear in the form of high fever, cough, shortness of breath and diarrhea, in addition to loss of sense of smell and taste. As for severe cases, they suffer from complications such as lung fibrosis, acute pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction and accident Cerebrovascular.
