This morning the period of electoral campaigning for the presidential elections, municipal and village councils, the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Assembly of Experts leadership in Iran ended.
Fars news agency reported that according to the law on presidential elections, municipal and village councils, the Islamic Consultative Assembly and the Assembly of Experts, the electoral campaign period ends 24 hours before the start of the electoral process at seven in the morning tomorrow, Friday.
Tomorrow, the thirteenth presidential elections, the elections for the six municipal and village Islamic councils, the parliamentary supplementary elections and the supplementary elections for the Assembly of Experts will take place tomorrow.
The competition in the presidential elections is taking place between the four candidates, Ibrahim Raisi, Mohsen Rezaei, Abdel Nasser Hemti and Amir Hussein Qazizadeh Hashemi, after the withdrawal of Alireza Zakani, Saeed Jalili and Mohsen Mehr Alizadeh. 66,800 polling stations were allocated for the presidential elections and 75,15 polling stations Voting for municipal and village council elections.
The number of voters is 59,310,307, including 1,392,148 people who have entered the legal age of 18 to vote for the first time.
