Gianna Lisci went to the local newspaper to find the owner of the wedding ring she had found while refueling.
And indeed: the ring was handed over to its owner.
Penzberg - Peter Zwicker actually noticed quickly that his wedding ring was gone, simply slipped off his finger.
The big question was, where could he be?
"I had feared for a long time that I would lose the ring," he said with a laugh.
"It's a bit too wide, but the goldsmith told me that it can't be made any tighter."
His wife took the loss with composure.
Peter Zwicker wanted to have a duplicate made as soon as possible.
The eleventh wedding anniversary on July 3rd should be celebrated with a ring.

But there was no need to go to the goldsmith - thanks to Gianna Lisci.
She had seen a flash of metal in front of the gas pump while refueling on Saturday.
"Is that a nut or a screw?", She wondered and bent down for it.
In her hand she held a wide platinum wedding ring with a gold ribbon in the middle.
The ring was engraved with the name "Gabi" and the date of the marriage.
Since the lost and found office is closed at the weekend, Gianna Lisci asked the local newspaper for a report on Facebook, and Gabi Zwicker read this information and sent it to her husband via WhatsApp.
The joy was great and a delivery date was quickly found.
