After the mayor (LR) of the 7th arrondissement of Paris Rachida Dati, it is the turn of the president of the Île-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse, to scratch the new parking policy of Anne Hidalgo.
According to the latter, the PS mayor of Paris is doing "social segregation" by paying for the parking of motorcycles and thermal scooters and by increasing the car visitor rate.
"Mrs. Hidalgo, with its toll and the tax on two wheels, is in the process of social segregation and closing Paris", estimates the candidate for her re-election to the regional, guest of Europe 1 this Thursday, at three days of the first round of the ballot.

Valérie Pécresse sees "another social segregation" in the entry into force on June 1 of the Low Emission Zone in greater Paris, inside the A86, prohibited to the most polluting vehicles.

If she is re-elected to the region, Valérie Pécresse promises "aid of 6,000 euros so that motorists who live or work in the ZFE can change their car".
Paid parking for motorcycles and thermal scooters from 2022, increase in the car visitor rate, pedestrianization of central Paris… On Tuesday, the team of Mayor Anne Hidalgo announced strong measures to reduce the place of polluting vehicles in the capital.
Motorcycles and gasoline scooters will have to pay 50% of the car tariffs. Car rates which will increase on August 1, from 4 to 6 euros for the visitor rate or from 2.4 to 4 euros per hour depending on the arrondissements.
