Suffering staff, worried parents ... The atmosphere remains heavy at Marie-Curie elementary school in Bobigny, where the transfer of a teacher "in the interest of the service" had already aroused excitement this winter.
In March, several teachers' unions mobilized to denounce what they considered to be a forced departure akin to "union repression" against Hélène Careil. This activist professor at Sud Education 93 had been working for seven years in this establishment classified as a reinforced priority education network (REP +). A petition denounced the working conditions since the retirement in 2019 of the former director Véronique Decker, an education figure in Seine-Saint-Denis.
For the academic direction, the departure of Hélène Careil was precisely aimed at easing tensions.
Four months later, the situation seems on the contrary more tense than ever in the establishment, which will be the subject of a visit this Friday by the departmental health, safety and working conditions committee (CHSCTD) of the Directorate. departmental national education services.
This arrival is explained in particular by the large number of “Occupational health and safety register” forms filled in by staff.

In one of them, written for a slanderous denunciation, a teacher recounts being the victim of an email written by the mother of a student in which the latter criticized her behavior towards schoolchildren. In a file, the professor says she feels in danger "as for the presence of a person who would seek to harm me in my work and in my private life".
Another sheet, filled out for espionage, relates that a teacher would have entered at the end of the day in the class of a colleague where she was surprised in the dark searching the room.
In a third, another reproaches a colleague for having wrongly accused him of having slammed the door in front of the students with annoyance, which earned him a summons from the constituency inspector.
In April, a teacher even had to be evacuated by firefighters for attempted suicide, after a panic attack during which she threatened to throw herself out of a window.
