When Jorge Daniel Zapata (60), the stupid doctor from Quilmes, was put in handcuffs, he was not surprised: under the ambo he wore an

anklet for a home

for drugs and, in parallel, he was wanted by the Justice of San Martín.

Now it was known that he

wore the seal of a dead doctor

.

"He used the stamp of

a doctor who died

last

May

and who worked in that clinic in Quilmes, where Zapata treated children and adults," explained sources with access to the file to

Clarín

.

Zapata was accused by the prosecutor Jorge Saizar, of the UFI N ° 5 of Quilmes, for the crime "of

illegal practice of medicine

, in real competition with usurpation of titles and honors", which has

minimum penalties

in the Penal Code.

But, based on his background and the escape, the Guarantees Justice in the last hours

rejected the request for release

presented by his defense, the sources detailed.

Zapata was captured on June 10 at the Brandsen 128 clinic, in the center of Quilmes.

According to the sources, the establishment where the trout doctor worked "is undergoing a

presumed corporate change

."

That day, police from the Quilmes DDI arrived at the scene and

posed as patients

.

They also filmed Zapata in action.

In the images he is seen making a recipe.

Before the prosecutor in the case, he refused to testify when they investigated him, although the sources said that when they asked him what he did, Zapata said that "he

was an employee and made the transfer of patients

."

Zapata had an arrest warrant and a domiciliary one.

Background

The curious thing about the case is that although Zapata was arrested on June 10, it was not because he was a tricky doctor but because he

had an arrest warrant

from the San Martín Justice for an "aggravated cover-up."

And those were not his only

background.

He wore an electronic ankle brace under his arm because he enjoyed the

benefit of house arrest

, granted by the federal justice of Lomas de Zamora.

“The case against Zapata is from

2017

and is held by the Federal Oral Criminal Court No. 2 of La Plata in the trial admission stage.

Eight people are accused of

cultivating, storing, having and transporting

narcotics from Buenos Aires to Tierra del Fuego ”, the sources detailed.

The detainee was recognized by a policeman who went to the clinic and knew his background.

The crimes were committed between June and October 2017 and, according to spokespersons for the case, “Zapata is accused of forming an

illicit association dedicated to drug trafficking

in an organized manner, as co-author, and aggravated by having more than three members and for the crime of

illegal possession of a weapon

for civilian use ”.

Despite this, on December 7, 2017, Federal Court No. 2 of Lomas de Zamora granted him release under

oath

and prohibition to leave the country, under electronic surveillance.

It was precisely those antecedents that made Zapata fall and now prevent him from getting out of jail.

The truth is that the arrest warrant for posing as a doctor came to the Prosecutor's Office two days after the arrest, for those things that the Justice has.

According to sources in the investigation, there are "at least two witnesses who assure that

Zapata attended to his parents

" posing as a professional from the sanatorium and are willing to testify in the case.

It all began five months ago, when an agent from a security force went to the Brandsen clinic in January of this year and

recognized the trucho doctor

from his background and reported him.
