The chairperson of the Working Group on Restaurant Ventilation Regulations, Yuen Pak Leong, said that 13,000 restaurants have met the relevant requirements so far, and about 4,000 restaurants are applying for extension, that is, 90% of restaurants have completed or are about to complete the relevant requirements.
However, he said that there are still 1,000 to 2,000 restaurants that have not yet met the requirements, so the FEHD will write a "reminder".
