The writer Siham Youssef writes the novel in a manner keen on the technical foundations and sound construction to preserve the language and the national subject, protect society and the integrity of culture, in addition to her translated works keen on constructive education.

And in an interview with Sana, Youssef said: I proceed from realism in my writings and try to avoid exaggeration and exaggeration in presenting the reality that I express and portray in words, so I present the truth to the reader as it is, as I witnessed it and as I heard it, and in this way, the feelings of the reader and his influence on what he reads are true and real.

Regarding her work in the field of translation, Youssef explained: This had a great impact on my reliance on realism in what I write because I hear the novel directly from its owners, and if so to speak from its heroes, especially since I work in direct interpretation and live the moment with people, and in all honesty I can say that translation is provided to me every day A new material that amounts to the formulation of a novel with a social, moral and educational dimension.

Youssef said: Translation is a transfer between two languages ​​and a bridge between two cultures and two or more civilizations, and as much as a person is fluent in languages, as much as he combines several personalities in one personality with the number of languages ​​he masters. The translation profession is one of the tiring professions, but it is one of the interesting professions, and it depends on the degree of mastery of the language you translate and your knowledge. with its culture.

As for literary genres and which one is closest to what you write... Youssef said: A certain literary work is often criticized by interested writers and writers about its classification and naturalization, especially if the chapters of the literary subject mix between the narrative and narrative text or between the descriptive, poetic or theatrical text, and this is what happened to me as The opinions of some writers differed about the classification or naturalization of the books Sea of ​​Tears and The Land of Candles as a narrative text, any novel or a narrative text.

The writer Youssef added: It is necessary to present the text to the reader in a manner that simulates the circumstance in which he lives and touches his humanity. A form of literary genres and has often expressed throughout history the social, economic and political situation that has passed in the history of peoples, suggesting the literary text that touches the reality of people, whether it is a narrative text or a novel.

Youssef pointed out that the events and changes that societies witness often constitute a rich material for the interaction of literature and culture with them, and it is natural to motivate writers, writers, poets and artists to write and express them, and the result of their works may come as a history of these events.

She said: We need a culture that enshrines the values ​​of love and the holiness of the homeland and spreads the concept of fraternity and peace in all fields and at all levels.
