In recent weeks, individuals keen to reduce the decades-long Israeli-Arab conflict to a mere propaganda slogan have marched through city centers and past synagogues, chanting slogans such as "
Israel, murderer." of children
”. Shocking images, shared overwhelmingly by "influencers" on channels such as TikTok and Instagram, accompany the protests, thus coming to corroborate the portrait of colonialist, racist and oppressive aggressor of the Palestinians which is today made of Israel.
Since the last armed clashes between Israel and Islamist Hamas, the number of such images has continued to increase.
And even personalities are getting involved: thus, the Dutch-Palestinian model Bella Hadid has not hesitated to share photos of demonstrations by which she sings her desire to see Israel soon wiped off the map.
