The coming of Joe Biden to the last G7 shows that the new American president and his team are old American diplomats, lapped under the Obama and Clinton presidencies. Biden himself was Obama's vice president and chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. He has aged, is weakened, but he knows music. With the Democrats, it's always the same song, this mixture of the politics of human rights, the invocation of democratic values and the Manichean designation of the adversary. It used to be the USSR, and now it's China. The goal is always the same: to unite the European allies under the banner of democracies to guarantee their unconditional subjugation to the new empire of the West: America.
