Summary of previous episodes: in
Orléans
(2019), Yann Moix told the ordeal of a child martyred by his parents.
He did not mention the existence of his brother Alexander.
At the end of this chilling tale, we wrote in
Le Figaro
:
"Either all this is imaginary, and Yann Moix is a great novelist, or everything is true, and he is a survivor of hell."
His parents disputed the veracity of his autobiography.
Old anti-Semitic fanzines, containing despicable texts and hideous drawings, were then sent to
L'Express.
Yann Moix admitted to being the author and asked for forgiveness publicly, on many occasions, for this filth of youth.
Suffice to say that the second volume of his memories reaches us with the smell of a wastewater treatment plant in full swing.
We feared 200 pages of contrition, but the author of
Jubilations vers le ciel
does not give in to this temptation.
